Upcoming November Meeting

Greetings fellow Oconostota Arrowmen,

We are swiftly approaching the end of our centennial OA year with only 2 monthly meetings left, and you won't want to miss them! We will be taking up our collection of toys for our holiday toys-for-tots drive. Any arrowman coming to our meeting should bring a toy for a child costing no more than $15. We are also taking up frozen turkeys for anybody that wishes to help support Ani-Wa-Ya chapters frozen turkey drive for the needy. Although it is only optional, if we collect 25 turkeys, I will allow a pie to be thrown in my face at the Christmas party meeting in December. This meeting, we will be planning for that Christmas party, as well as playing a game. We will also discuss a popcorn unloading that the council has asked our chapter to participate in. I will also bring up an idea for a world record set by our chapter at the 2016 spring fellowship. Also, we will be announcing our Moe's fundraiser night, which will be on Thursday, December 3, as our chapter fundraiser to offset chapter expenses. Also, our chapter epaulets are coming together and look awesome! They are larger than the standard size, purple with the the OA Centennial logo and our lodge 75th anniversary logo, with "Oconostota" on them in big letters. The epaulets will be $10 a pair, and they are worth it! The meeting will be at St. Giles Presbyterian Church on Hudson Road from 7:00-8:30pm, and I encourage all of our arrowmen to attend! If you have any questions you can email me at JKujath.scout@gmail.com, or text me at (281) 785-8659. Also, if you know of any members in your unit who have not been attending our meetings, encourage them to come! I hope to see you all there!

Yours in Service,

Justin Kujath, Chapter Chief
