October 2015 Meeting Recap
Fellow Oconostota Chapter Arrowmen,
Our meeting this October on the 17th went very well. We held elections for chapter positions including our newly added position, Vice Chief of Service. Our Chapter Chief is Justin Kujath, Chapter Vice Chief is Matthew Jenkins, Chapter Vice Chief of Inductions is Duncan McDermott, Chapter Scribe is James Gill, and Chapter Vice Chief of Service is Gram Grant. After Holding Elections, we reviewed the Fall Fellowship, and everybody felt that it went well. We then planned a Toys For Tots toy drive, in which each chapter member needs to bring a new, unwrapped toy costing under $15 dollars to the next meeting. Also, we decided that if arrowmen in our chapter wanted, they could bring a frozen turkey to the next meeting to help out Ani-Wa-Ya Chapter in brootherhood with their turkey drive for the needy. Also, next meeting we will be collecting any donations for Dallas troop 746, whose troop trailer and all its contents were recently stolen. Then, we concluded with a 4 person chair challenge, a game involving the admonition, and a game of "steal the bacon''. We had alot of fun and look forward to seeing all who could not attend at our next meeting at the St. Giles Presbyterian Church on Hudson Road from 7:00-8:30 pm. We look forward to seeing you then!
